Sivasdescalzo, sinds februari in Barcelona, heeft nu ook een winkel geopend in Madrid.

Madrid, September 17th, 2012 - sivasdescalzo.com, the Spanish based online sneaker store whose mandate is to offer the latest in special edition sneakers and casual footwear, is opening a flagship store in the centre of Madrid. The 206 square meter space features a careful selection from top brands such as adidas ObyO, Nike (Tier +), Puma, New Balance, Reebok, Asics, Onitsuka Tiger, le coq sportif, Air Jordan and Vans, along with designer collaborations such as Alexander McQueen, Mihara Yasuhiro, Hussein Chalayan, Jeremy Scott and Kazuki.

Located on 5 Churruca street, the spacious locale showcases an abundant selection of special editions while providing an excellent venue for sneaker releases and other special events relating to fashion, music and urban lifestyle. Furthermore, the interactive store includes televisions and a touch screen so clientele can browse through sivasdescalzo's extensive online catalogue with the option to make the purchase themselves. The knowledgable staff, with over 15 years of experience in the sector, is there to assist shoppers throughout the whole process.

Daniel García, sivasdescalzo co-founder and Head of Production, said “Spain counts an important sneaker culture, yet the capital lacks a reference in the sector. Previously an auto repair garage, the locale conserves some of its original elements such as the mechanical lift, hose and tiled walls. The pine wood furniture featured throughout brings warmth to the minimalistic space, resulting in an avant-garde feel.

This is sivasdescalzo's second physical store. The original store opened in Barcelona near the Sagrada Familia back in February 2011.
